Metamorphosis

Ive just submitted a few images for claire market review mag in London. The theme is metamorphosis and aims to show the 'growth' of the artists featured by printing a double page spread with 'old' work (e.g. from application portfolio for college) and 'new' work (something done recently).

I had a little rummage through my old work and found this piece that i done in college 7 years ago.




I like the fact that some elements of my approach to working still stayed the same. I had a very energetic and experimental style back then, something that i feel is still visible in my work today, its just become more refined and resolved.
