Work in Progress

A little work in progress piece i have on the go just now. Its part of a series of works on my "Cosmos" project which illustrates the journeys of "Nikolai Enok", a cosmonaut traveller who explores different worlds in a bid to find his true meaning in life. In a way, Nikolai's journey mirrors my own personal journey in life and the difficulties and experiences i have faced when moving to another country. The feelings of alienation, excitement, fear and adventure are all communicated through my alter ego "Nikolai". More updates on this project soon! The journey continues...

Travel postcard series

005- Glasgow/Scotland

004- Sofia/Bulgaria

003- Venice/Italy

002-Melbourne/Australia

001- Berlin/Germany

The travel postcard series is an ongoing project that i've been working on for a while. I aim to document my travels and visualise my feelings of each particular place i visit, i do this by using photographs, drawings, feelings, colours and text that i associate with each particular place and construct a spherical collage. These pieces are unique to me because they represent my own perceptions and emotions that run through me when i'm their, these collages aim to capture that.
